Open Website Settings → Form Settings → Email notifications.
  1. Enable notifications and enter the SMTP host, username and password supplied by your email provider. Some providers require an app password or SMTP credential rather than your normal login password.
  2. Choose 587 — STARTTLS or 465 — TLS, as specified by the provider.
  3. Enter the sender name and email. The sender must be permitted by your SMTP provider.
  4. Enter your notification recipients, separated by commas (up to 10).
  5. Save, then click Send test email. Confirm it arrives in the recipient’s inbox or spam folder.
Notifications contain the form name, submission time, submitted fields and uploaded file links. Files are not attached to the email. Password fields contain salted hashes, never the original password. Only your connected SMTP server sends these notifications. There is no fallback to the platform’s email service. Without SMTP, submissions still appear in the inbox and configured webhooks still run. Submissions are saved before email delivery. A failed notification does not lose the submission or ask the visitor to submit again. Delivery status appears in the submission details. Use Retry email to retry a failed notification manually. If a timeout occurred after the SMTP server accepted the first email, a manual retry can produce a duplicate. Test-mode and spam submissions do not send notifications; the settings test button sends a separate sample email. To stop notifications, turn off the checkbox and save. To remove the credentials, select Disconnect SMTP and remove credentials and save.
