Create shipping rates in Stripe
- Open your website in the editor
- Go to Settings -> Shop
- In the Shipping Rate guide, click Open Stripe
- Create one or more shipping rates in Stripe
- Standard shipping
- Express shipping
- International shipping
- Local delivery
Make a product use shipping
- Open the Pages tab
- Edit a product
- Enable Shipping Address in checkout options
- Save the product
How it works in cart checkout
- If all items are digital or do not require shipping, no shipping rates are shown
- If one or more items require shipping, Stripe shows your active shipping rates
- The shipping rates come directly from your connected Stripe account
Best practices
- Create clear rate names in Stripe
- Test both desktop and mobile checkout flows
- Keep domestic and international rates separate when needed
- Disable unused rates in Stripe so customers only see valid options
