DNS records connect your custom domain to Lindo.ai.

What is DNS

DNS (Domain Name System) translates domain names to server addresses. You need to add records to your domain’s DNS settings.

Record Types

CNAME Record

Points a subdomain to another domain:

• Used for: app, sites subdomains
• Points to: cname.lindo.ai
• Purpose: Routes traffic to Lindo.ai

TXT Record

Text record for verification:

• Used for: Domain ownership verification
• Contains: Verification code
• Purpose: Proves you own the domain

General Steps

1. Log into your domain registrar
2. Find DNS settings
3. Add new record
4. Enter type, name, value
5. Save changes

Propagation Time

DNS changes take time to spread:

• Usually 15 minutes to 4 hours
• Can take up to 48 hours
• Be patient after adding records
